these are a pair of Barefoot MM27,

only selling because i'm moving and want to lighten the load, otherwise wouldn't sell these ever. would likely use and service forever. i can't think of any reason i'd ever not use this monitor considering what they've done for me, and what they've added to my life.

these are probably 8-10 years old. they have amps inside and like many high end monitors and powered hifi speakers, the amps inside could need minor, inexpensive servicing, at any given time. the amps are removable and barefoot has great service. i currently have $120K hifi speakers each with a $10K 800W amp inside, and they've been plugging away for 12 years, astonishing. i have had zero issues with the barefoots. they are incredible monitors and also great for playback. they give you want you want. tons of power, tons of detail.
