The El Rey Theater is Los Angeles hosted a night of performances celebrating Flea's Silverlake Conservatory of Music, we were stoked to print these tees for them!

We had the great privilege of printing more shirts for the Japanese boutique collaboration between Dogtown and Wolves Kills Sheep.

All these shirts are awesome, selling like hot cakes, and are printed with a top of the line DTG process.

Today we were super exited to help out Flea's Silverlake Conservatory of Music with a last minute job for the kids finishing music camp.  Shirts came out great and are for a great cause!

Just finished a few runs for our friends & neighbors in the Arts District here in Downtown LA, a clothing line called Wolves Kill Sheep, who are currenlty blowing up big in Japan. These shirts retail for $75US in Japan.

today we printed all samples for Jim Carrey's secret, "on the down low" new t-shirt company.  unfortuantely we can't share the images, but it was a thrill, and everyone was a dream to work with.  Jim is actually a bigtime artist; he produces paintings that are massive in size.

Today we moved from Los Feliz into our marvelous new commercial loft at 915 MATEO ST, and we're loving the view!  The new location suits us well, in this thriving neighborhood. We've had a DTLA prescence since 1996 and are so happy to again be calling this place home. Our space also serves as an art gallery and music studio.

charlie sheen ordered 8 of these personalized, custom t-shirts for a now infamous party w/ some friends, via text, indicating proper spelling & layout. if you didn't know that charlie calls himself "the masheen", well now you do...  this was WAY before we knew charlie had #tigersblood or was diagnosed as bi-winning, and before charlie sheen t-shirts became a multi-million dollar industry.

The film shoot was last week in NYC, and will feature a stop motion video of a child wearing 40-50 custom t-shirts, removing one by one.  This was an extremely unique & demanding job, requiring over one hour labor per t-shirt and a 5 day turnaround.

Today we printed 20 custom direct to garment t-shirts for Will Ferrell's funnyordie.com, one of the most epic sites on the interweb, which will be used on a sketch...

This morning DIY Shirts owner Chris, with Eric Lockard of Lockard Amplification delivered and set up a Lockard 187 amplifier at Conan's new artist green room for Jack White (day 1) & Soundgarden (day 2).  The energy level very early morning at Conan's new Warner Bros. studio for his TBS debut was ELECTRIC to say the least!!!!!   Conan has an extraordinary staff...  The early morning rock 'n roll but a bit awkward, but had an absolute blast hanging out.

Tonight was Rainnn Wilson's SOUL PANCAKE book release party in Beverly Hills.  In attendance were Mike Mitchell (Rocket Bird T-artist), Steve Carrell, and Weird Al Yankovich.  Fun.

We took a quick trip up to Frisco for a photo exhibit at Aversano Galleria, just days before our very own Los Feliz grand opening art show.  It was my first ever photo show, entitled "Octaves" and some NorCal friends showed up for the opening.  It was during the baseball playoffs and raining cats & dogs.  Fun night...  the show ended up selling out, thanks Tony!  All of the 11 photos were goth themed for Halloween and taken in New England - mainly Salem, Marblehead, Boston & Coventry. The prints from this show will be available June 2011 here at DIYshirts.com.

Today we shipped off over 300 DTG printed American Apparel tees for Rainn Wilson's big Seattle show at the Moore Theater.  Design was created by Mike Mitchell and has been a big hit, and these will surely be considered collectible.  These shirts were all printed using state of the art digital printing equipment using soft to the touch, eco-friendly water based ink.  Rainn's event was just prior to the release of his NY Times bestseller Soul Pancake and was sold out!

Last minute rush order, worked all day on a Sunday to deliver 50 T-Shirts to the Dr. Phil Show for "Little Kids Rock Across America" featuring Chad Smith from The Red Hot Chili Peppers. This foundation donated $500,000 for music education.

1. Fan creates custom t-shirt at DIYshirts.com

2. Fan goes to Denver Jane's/Nine Inch Nails show

3. Fan gets angry with setlist and throws the shirt off his back, at Perry

4. Perry takes shirt and struts it around stage, and uses as a discussion prop for intro to "Been Caught Stealing"

5. Fan gets a standing ovation, but doesn't get his shirt back.

We're still waiting for video of the event to surface.
